Shanghai World Expo Early Bird Rates

The 100-day countdown to the opening of Shanghai World Expo began on Jan. 21. With a finite number of hotel rooms available in central Shanghai, organisers are advising visitors to book accommodation early to secure a room and enjoy special rates. The expo runs from May 1 through Oct. 31 and will feature more than 200 country, corporate and themed pavilions. Over 70 million visitors, including 3.5 million from outside China, are expected to visit Shanghai over the six months of the fair and hotel rooms in Shanghai’s city centre are likely to be in short supply.
