United Airlines New Year Bargains

United Airlines is offering online travel bargains this month. Both long-haul and short-haul travellers booking their tickets from Hong Kong (HKG) through the United Hong Kong website to Los Angeles (LAX), Singapore (SIN) or Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) can enjoy special fares. Round-trip economy-class fares to Los Angeles start from HKD 6,850 for departures through the end of March. Tickets must be purchased through the United Hong Kong website on or before Jan. 31. Travellers flying to Singapore or Ho Chi Minh City during the same period can enjoy fares as low as HKD 910 when booking online. United is also offering 500 bonus miles to all customers booking flights to any destination through the United website for the first time, or to customers who have not booked a flight through the United website since Aug. 14, 2008.
