New Business-Class Seats On Finnair
Following the delivery of its fifth Airbus A330 aircraft, Finnair is offering more flights featuring its Contour Advantage seats in business class. The Contour Advantage seats are fully horizontal, and a new seat configuration offers increased privacy. The A330 aircraft are part of Finnair's long-haul traffic fleet modernization, which the airline says will reduce emissions significantly. The new business class has 45 seats rather than 42 seats of previous aircraft, however a third of the lie-flat seats do not have another seat on either side and 90 percent of business-class passengers enjoy direct access to an aisle. Finnair uses the A330 aircraft on shorter long-haul routes from its Helsinki (HEL) hub to destinations such as New York (JFK), Delhi (DEL), Seoul (INC) and Nagoya (NGO).
