Mobile First For Malaysia Airlines
Malaysia Airlines has launched a new mobile phone service that allows passengers to book, pay, check in and board their flights using their mobile phone. Developed in conjunction with SITA Lab, Malaysia Airlines says its flymas.mobi platform provides the most comprehensive menu of mobile phone functionality available to airline passengers anywhere in the world. As well as facilitating payment, check-in and issuing 2D boarding passes on mobile phones, flymas.mobi allows passengers to trace the status of delayed baggage. The flymas.mobi service can be used on any web-enabled phone with a screen above 128 pixels. All major operating systems and manufacturers are supported including Blackberry (RIM), the iPhone, Android Google phone, Symbian (Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson) and Windows Mobile (HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson).
