Thai Launches New Phuket-Hong Kong Route
Thai Airways will launch direct flights between Phuket (HKT) and Hong Kong (HKG) on Oct. 25. The airline says it is introducing the new flights in response to growing passenger demand for a direct service to the popular tourist destination. The flights will use a two-class Airbus 330-300, with 263 economy-class seats and 42 seats in Royal Silk class. Operating on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the flights from Hong Kong will depart 08:00 and arrive in Phuket at 10:20. Return flights will depart Phuket 13:15 and arrive in Hong Kong at 17:45.
