Air Asia Wins Landing Rights In Paris
Malaysian-based low-cost carrier AirAsia will start flying to Paris following the granting of landing rights by the French government. Malaysia’s prime minister, Najib Razak announced the news at the end of his four-day visit to France. The approval will allow AirAsia’s long-haul affiliate AirAsia X to fly to Orly Airport (ORY) in southern Paris. This is the second European route for AirAsia X, which started flights between Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and London Stansted (STN). AirAsia X also flies to Australia, Taiwan and China, and will start flights to Abu Dhabi (AUH) in November.
