IHG Signs Four TCC Hotels
InterContinental Hotels Group has signed a deal with leading Thai conglomerate, Thai Chareon Corporation, to convert and rebrand four existing hotels in Australia, China and Japan. The 367-room Hyatt Adelaide will become InterContinental Adelaide; the 285-room Banks Hotel in Kunming will become the Crowne Plaza Kunming City Centre; and the Sakura Kunming Hotel will become the 235-room Holiday Inn Kunming City Centre. The 592-room ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe is currently a franchised Crowne Plaza and will retain its name. TCC is the owner of InterContinental Singapore. With this new agreement, TCC will have a total of five IHG properties in its portfolio.
