Emirates And Virgin Blue To Codeshare
From Oct. 25, Emirates and Virgin Blue Group’s international airline, V Australia, will codeshare on the trans-Tasman route between Australia and New Zealand. The codeshare agreement is Dubai-based Emirates’ first with an Australian carrier. The new agreement will provide V Australia passengers seamless connections when travelling between New Zealand and the United States. Passengers can travel on the trans-Tasman sector using Emirates’ award-winning service and connect conveniently to/from V Australia’s international service between Sydney (SYD) and Los Angeles (LAX). The codeshare flights will be identified with the Emirates EK code as well as with V Australia’s VA code.
