Jin Air To Fly International
Jin Air, a low-cost airline owned by Korean Air, has announced plans to start international flights in October. The airline was established in July 2008 and currently services routes within South Korea only. At a press conference to mark the first anniversary of the airline, Jin Air President Kim Jae-kin said that Jin Air will launch international flights from Seoul (ICN) to Bangkok (BKK) and Macau (MFM) in October. In the following months it will add flights to Osaka (OSA) and Weihai (WEH) on Dec. 23, and Guam (GUM) in early 2010. The Jin Air president also said fares should be 20 to 30 percent lower than those of larger airlines servicing the same routes.
